I just had to pull a few of my faves from Kim and Jason’s Asheville wedding last weekend. We were the first to photograph a new venue in Fairview called, Bridgewater. It was a gorgeous outdoor location with lots of natural elements to work with. The couple used local vendors and it was an awesome experience. For a list of the vendors and links to their sites, please view at the bottom of this post. Much more to come soon. I’m off to Kansas City to photograph a large family wedding.

Hi Everyone, Ian here…

Amanda and Stephen’s wedding in Asheville at the Grand Bohemian was absolutely beautiful. I was so thrilled to be a part of their day! As a photographer, I love shooting at the bohemian… their rooms are stunning and always have great light! I started my day shooting Amanda and her bridesmaids getting ready, laughter and smiles filled the room. I always suggest to my clients a “first look” and Amanda and Stephen were onboard with that. It is such a special moment and its a great way to relax before the wedding. Asheville Event Company did a great job pulling the details together and making sure the day flowed perfectly. All the flowers were beautifully arranged by Blossoms at Biltmore Park. Amanda, Stephen and their families were so great to work with and it looked like everyone had a great time!!! They danced the night away to sounds from Split Second Sound!

You have to see it to believe it. Kim and Drew rapping and dancing with the band at the end of this Montage at the Crest Center. Loved every minute. Thank you for the talented staff who helped make it all happen, beautifully.

Every spring, my favorite thing to photograph is the beauty of the budding tulips at Biltmore. The gardens there are exquisite and lend themselves for a day of fun for any family. Here are some of my favorites from a few weekends ago.

Julianna and Taylor’s e-session at the Biltmore was filled with laughs and gorgeous scenery. We tooled around the estate and had a great time incorporating the sweetheart chair from The Darling Bee. I just completed the design on their custom guestbook, which features the couple’s top 20 favorites from the session. Their guests will have fun signing this keepsake on their wedding day.
